The
Nutrition and Food management program at Laboure was challenging and yet
very rewarding. It has been three years of extremely hard work, but the
meticulous curriculum and experienced faculty have given me valuable
tools to utilize in my job and future career plans. I was able to expand
my knowledge of nutrition while getting hands on experience with
professionals in my area. My experiences while at Laboure encouraged me
to continue with my education and pursue a masters degree in the field
of nutrition. Graduating from Laboure has truly helped me advance in my
current career at WIC.

Successful completion of our program will allow you to sit for the registration examination for dietetic technician, registered (DTR). Registered dietetic technicians are an integral part of health care and food service management teams.
All of the major courses in the Nutrition and Food Management program are offered in a hybrid format. This means that the class participants meet face to face in the first and last class of the term and the remainder of the work is completed online. This means that you may take quizzes and tests online, participate in discussions online, and submit your work online.
The Nutrition and Food Management Program at Laboure is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
