Past Events

Dinner With Coach

Coach Bill Belichick helped Labouré College raise funds on May 9, 2013 at Granite Links Golf Course. MCs comedic legend Lenny Clarke and legendary sportswriter Bill Burt helped Coach make the night a great success for Labouré.

"I am looking forward to the event on May 9th in support of Labouré College and its mission to provide high quality education and prepare women and men for careers in health care. Labouré's commitment to diversity in both its student population and patient care is exemplary," Bill Belichick, Coach of the New England Patriots.

Proceeds from this event helped fund the College's move from its former Dorchester home to its new campus at 303 Adams Street, Milton. Formerly Aquinas College, the new location will better serve the college's growing student population with added classroom space and student parking.

Labouré Medal Dinner

On September 20, 2012, Labouré began its 120th anniversary celebration with the Illumination Gala at Granite Links Golf Club in Quincy. Over 280 people gathered to honor Alma Wahlberg, Maureen Feeney and the Men and Women of Steward Health Care who went into Haiti after the devastation. Mary Richardson, formerly of Chronicle, and now with Steward Health Care, was the Master of Ceremonies. There were 50 items in the silent auction ranging from signed posters by Mark Wahlberg and Tom Selleck to a signed boxing glove by Mickey Ward, The Fighter. We raised over $50,000 for scholarships and $40,000 for operating expenses. The event was great fun and raised awareness regarding our college and the students we serve.
