The Commencement Ceremony for Labouré College, Class of 2012, was held at the Cathedral of the Holy Cross in Boston on Saturday, May 12th.

The invocation was given by Reverend John F. O’Donnell, DMin. The ceremony opened with a welcome to all graduates, faculty, families and friends by the newly inaugurated President of Labouré College, Ms. Maureen Smith and Sr. Marie Puleo, Senior Vice President of Mission for Steward Health Care. Recognition of academic excellence was given by Dr. Paula Vosburgh, Dean of Academic Affairs. The ceremony continued with the ASN valedictory address given by Kerri M. Madigan and the BSN valedictory address given by Maria Theresa Olivier. The special guest speaker chosen to address the class of 2012 was Dr. Jim O’Connell, President of  Boston Health Care for the Homeless Program.

The Associate of Science (ASN) degree was conferred upon 130 graduates in both the nursing and allied health programs.  The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree was conferred upon nine graduates this year. Twelve graduates received allied health certificate programs. Congratulations and Best Wishes to the Class of 2012!
