Labouré College hosted a Day of Service on Saturday, March 18 for students, faculty, and staff. The participants made 100 sandwiches and filled lunch bags to the top with other tasty foods and treats. As well, “essentials” such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, soap, and a variety of personal care items were collected for distribution. 86 mini tote bags were stocked with these items. The food and supplies were delivered on Saturday morning to Fr. Bill’s shelter in Quincy and Mainspring shelter in Brockton. As part of the day of service, another activity offered included visiting with the sisters of St. Joseph at Fontbonne Academy. What a great day - bringing the Labouré community together - students, staff, faculty and friends with the purpose of helping those in need.
