Health Insurance

Massachusetts requires that all students enrolled in nine credits or more each semester have health insurance. If you are taking nine or more credits, you will be automatically enrolled in the College's Student Health Insurance Plan. Student insurance costs are approximately:

Item Fee
Full year coverage $3,597
Coverage for spring & summer only $2,398
Coverage for summer only $1,199

The College’s Student Health Insurance Plan is through Gallagher Student Insurance. Students must complete an online waiver form during the enrollment waiver period demonstrating they have comparable health insurance coverage. Normally, opportunities to enroll or to waive insurance coverage will occur in the month prior to beginning of a semester. Waivers need only be submitted once per school year. Specific enrollment/waiver deadlines will be announced on the College website, on my.laboure.edu, and in the student newsletter.

Due dates and payment options

You can either pay in full or sign up for a payment plan to cover your balance, including any balance that remains after your financial aid*.

If you choose to pay in full, you can pay online at my.laboure.edu or in person at the Welcome Center. We accept cash, check, money order, Master Card, Visa, or Discover.

Payment due dates are:

  • August 15 for Fall semester
  • December 15 for Spring semester
  • April 15 for Summer semester

If you do not complete the necessary paperwork for financial aid, pay in full, or sign-up for a payment plan by the due day, your courses may be dropped.

Books

Book costs vary by program. On average, you should plan to spend around $500 to $1,300 a year. For an idea of the requirements for your program, check out our virtual bookstore.

For convenience, we offer an extended line of credit to allow Labouré bookstore charges to be applied to your student account. Approximately 30 days before the start of a semester, you will get an email explaining how to buy books online using this line of credit. The charges added to your student account simply need to be paid before your next registration period.

All costs are subject to change at the discretion of the college without notice.
