Pinning 2021

Takara, RN '17, BSN '21 celebrated her BSN pinning with her family this spring. Her twins were born 2 weeks after her last final exam at Labouré in Fall 2020.

Fund a Future Nurse Scholarship

At Labouré, we believe that anyone with the desire to care for others should be supported in reaching their goals - not held back simply because they cannot afford it.

When you give to the Fund A Future Nurse scholarship, you make an investment in the future of our students. These are the hardworking men and women who will someday care for us and our families, and they are truly deserving of your support.

Your donation will go directly to students who are in good academic standing, have exhausted all financial aid and loan options, and still can not afford their tuition payment.

Donate today, in any amount, to help students reach their goal of a career in caring for others

Labouré College gives under-served students the dignity of supporting themselves and their families in meaningful and necessary occupations.

Care for others

Our students are incredibly deserving, and we know this resiliency, work ethic, and drive will lead to exceptional nurses and healthcare providers.

The investment in these students is worth every penny because they already have what cannot be taught: compassion and a true calling to care for others.

"If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here today."

"The scholarship was one of the best things that happened to me this year... because I was in a dark place thinking that I wasn't going to be able to take my boards or pay for school. Now I am able to register for my boards ... and I will make a difference in a lot of people's lives."

Daphne Jean, Class of 2016, Nursing

"The scholarship definitely helped me out because without it ... it would have made things difficult, especially being a mom."

"Getting that scholarship helped me... be around more for my son, just to make sure I'm there to help with his homework. I don't have to rush to work after class and work 40+ hours; I'm able to go home and cook a meal for him, and if I didn't have that scholarship, I would have had to work more."

Shanell Saunders, Class of 2017, Nursing

One nurse will care for thousands

On average, one nurse will care for 45,000 patients in their career. That’s 45,000 times a nurse will put to practice what was learned here at Labouré to care for someone in need.

The investment you make in the education of a Labouré nurse touches not only that nurse but also the thousands of patients they will care for and the communities they will serve.
