Labouré Ranked 2nd Highest Paying Associate Degree by Payscale

Labouré College of Healthcare has been named #2 in the country for highest earning associate degree graduates according to Payscale’s 2023 College Salary Report. Payscale releases an annual report on salary potential rankings based on survey data from nearly 3.5 million college graduates nationwide. The report identifies 1,229 associate degree schools.

According to the report, the majority of highest earning two-year schools are those who train students for careers in nursing and healthcare professions, with radiation therapy named the top earning two-year major.

“While the perceived value of a college degree may be up for debate, this year’s College Salary Report shows that higher education continues to offer practical advantages when it comes to employment opportunities and salary offers,” said Payscale’s associate director of content, Amy Stewart. “We hope the report can serve as a valuable resource for students preparing to make one of the most pivotal choices of their life.”

With a 2-year degree, students can enter their profession earlier than in a traditional 4-year program. This allows graduates to enter the workforce and gain valuable on-the-job experience while also preparing them for the next level of theory, communication, and leadership that comes with a bachelor’s completion degree. Most importantly, associate degree programs help graduates enter the field quickly to start earning salaries and provide for themselves and their families.

Labouré offers associate degree programs in Radiation Therapy, Nursing, Respiratory Care, and Health Science, as well as bachelor completion degrees and certificate programs.
