Admission and Tuition

Healthcare Administration program courses start each Spring (January), Summer (May), and Fall (September). You may apply at any time for consideration for the next upcoming start date. 

Below we'll cover the application process and the criteria we look for when reviewing applications. You'll also be able to quickly reference the tuition and fees for this program, and find information about applying for financial aid.

Application

All applicants are responsible for submitting or completing the following:

  • Completed application for admission, with non-refundable application fee
  • Documentation of high school graduation, GED completion, or other state approved equivalency credential
  • Official college transcript(s) from all institutions attended (if applicable) 
  • Copy of any professional licenses, registrations, or certificates (if applicable) 

Applicants whose native language is not English and who have not graduated from an American high school or college may be asked to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).

Official transcripts must be either hard copy or electronic. 

  • Hard copy: transcripts must arrive in their originally sealed, never-before-opened envelopes
  • Electronic: transcripts must be delivered electronically directly to admissions@laboure.edu using a verified electronic transcript service

Application fees may be paid online at the time of application submission, or submitted as check, money order, or credit card payment (Visa, Mastercard, or Discover only). 

  • Check or money order must be made payable to Labouré College of Healthcare
  • Credit card payments can be made over the phone to (617) 322-3517. Please specify "application fee" as your reason for payment.

Admission Criteria

The Admissions team evaluates all applicants on the following minimum criteria and prerequisites outlined below.

  • Evidence of graduation from an accredited high school, completion of a GED with a minimum standard score of 150 for each test, or completion of the HiSET with a minimum standard score of 45
  • An overall GPA of 2.0 or higher
  • A strong foundation in reading, writing, mathematics, and science

Prerequisites:

  • An associate degree or higher in a healthcare-related field.
    Applicants without an associate degree in a healthcare-related field are encouraged to contact admissions to learn about pathways to the bachelor's degree

OR

  • Transfer of 60 or more credits from a regionally accredited college at the 100 or 200 coursework level
    • Students must meet residency requirement at Labouré (30 credits) and transfer courses must include successful completion of the following course equivalents: 
      • Humanities Electives - 6 credits (3 at the 100 level and 3 at the 200 level)
      • Ethics Elective - 3 credits
      • Natural Science Electives (2 courses) - 6 credits
      • Psychology Electives - 6 credits (3 at the 100 level and 3 at the 200 level)
      • Math Elective - 3 credits (100 level or higher)

Tuition and Fees

Tuition is based on the number of credits you take each semester. The costs below reflect the tuition and fees for 2023-2024 and 2024-2025.

The cost is $375 per credit for all healthcare administration courses in the bachelor's completion program, plus the cost of books and supplies. Financial aid can help you pay for your program.

Additional fees* include:

  • Admissions Application Fee: $25
  • Matriculation Fee: $250 (paid by the Admission Deposit)
  • Registration fee: $100 per semester
  • Technology Fee: $40 per credit
  • Graduation Fee: $250
    This fee will be charged in the last semester at the College to cover the cost of graduation processing.

*All fees that are non-refundable

Massachusetts requires that all students enrolled in nine or more credits each semester have health insurance. Read more about this requirement.
