2015 Massachusetts Care Awards Winner Spotlight: Mary Therese Flanagan, RN

Lifelong Milton resident Mary Therese Flanagan, RN has been awarded the 2015 Compassionate Patient Care Award from Laboure College. After raising 10 children, Mary Therese decided to fulfill a lifelong dream and become a nurse. She graduated from Quincy College in 2006. As a nurse, she says the most rewarding thing is having the, "ability to be compassionate, alleviate people’s fears and ease their pain." She currently works at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton on the medical telemetry floor.
