GIVE TODAY

These are the men and women who will one day care for us.

Our students are adults who are not only studying to become nurses and healthcare professionals – they’re also juggling work and family commitments while in school. 90% of our students are women and approximately 63% are at or approaching poverty.

Most are raising young families with an average household income of ~$40,000 and 31% are single parents. Upon graduation, these students are eligible for careers with starting salaries of $100,000 and up. A degree from Labouré means a rewarding career, a livable wage, and economic independence.

Where Your Gift Goes

Scholarships & Aid

Over 60% of our associate-level students are at or approaching the poverty line. Labouré awards hundreds of thousands of dollars in scholarships and aid every year, but it's not enough.

Gifts fund merit-based and financial need scholarships as well as emergency aid including food and hygiene products, helping our students stay in school.

Named Scholarships can be established in your name or to honor a loved one.

The Center

Gifts to the Labouré
Center for Excellence and Representation in Nursing help level the academic playing field for those called to care.

The pillars of the center include:

  • • Advanced Vocational ESOL for nursing students
  • • NCLEX-RN preparedness
  • • Tutoring & mentorship
  • • Expanded use of technology

Labouré Fund

The true legacy of Labouré is the exceptional care delivered to patients in Greater Boston and beyond for over 130 years.

Gifts to The Labouré Fund support the areas of greatest need for our students.

If you have a specific area in mind - for example: sustaining support services, facility improvements, technological investments, etc. - contact us to let us know how you would like your gift applied.
