Labouré has specialized in nursing education for more than 130 years. You'll learn from professors who share your compassion for patients and are up to date on the latest advances in healthcare. They're joined by a network of clinical adjunct faculty - nurses who care for patients in diverse communities in the Greater Boston Area.
Like you, they are here because they are committed to building healthier lives and healthier communities.
SIMULATION LEARNING
Through simulation technology, you can practice and learn patient care on high-fidelity manikins before working with live patients. This low-stress, highly effective method helps you practice and build confidence.
STUDENT STORIES
John sold mutual funds, taught yoga, built stage sets for U2, and worked as a clinical rehab liaison for 15 years before getting his associate degree in nursing.
Taniqua, a CNA by day, got her ASN at night because she wanted to be able to do more for her patients.
Our program is unlike any other nursing program in Boston. Labouré is different than an associate program in a community college because:
Day courses and Evening courses are set at different times of the day to provide more opportunities for our students.
Although the schedule of classes changes each semester, there are some general guidelines about when the courses will meet:
Nursing coursework is complex and requires commitment. Labouré offers nursing courses on both day and evening schedules to accommodate students with other responsibilities. While many Labouré students have been able to successfully balance school and part-time employment, flexible part-time employment is recommended in order to accommodate school requirements.
The Associate in Science in Nursing degree is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). ACEN, Inc., 3390 Peachtree Road NE, Suite 1400, Atlanta, GA 30326.

The graduate of this program will be able to work with and provide care for patients of diverse groups in a multicultural community. The end of program student learning outcomes are derived from the mission, philosophy, curriculum framework, and organizing concepts and structure of the nursing program, inclusive of the Massachusetts Nurse of the Future Nursing Core Competencies.
