Sim Lab discussion with instructor

We're excited to welcome you to the Labouré community! Below are some important next steps you'll need to take to complete the enrollment process and officially become a student at Labouré.

If you have any questions, please contact Admissions at (617) 315-1654 or admissions@laboure.edu.

I've submitted my deposit! What's next?

Attend Labouré 101.

This orientation will prepare you for success as a Labouré student, both inside and outside of the classroom. You'll learn more about your program, and be introduced to key departments within the College. To register, please contact the Student Success Center at studentsuccess@laboure.edu or (617) 322-3579.

Activate your Labouré email

Email accounts will be created for new students after deposit, approximately 3 months prior to their semester of acceptance (so, if you are accepted for Fall, your email address will be created in early Summer).

Labouré email accounts are the only email accounts which the College staff and faculty will use to communicate with students for business and academic activity.

How to activate your Labouré email account:

  1. Go to https://login.microsoftonline.com

  2. Username: firstname_lastname@students.laboure.edu

If your name includes punctuation, it will be included in your email address.

    Examples:
    John_Smith@students.laboure.edu
    John_Gordon-Levitt@students.laboure.edu

  3. Password: uppercase first initial, uppercase last initial, six-digit birthday, and exclamation point

    Examples:
John Smith was born 10/31/82, therefore his password is JS103182!

You will be prompted to change your password the first time you log into your email account

Register for classes

Pay attention to your official Laboure email account for the Registration Newsletter that explains important information about course registration.  Course registration for new students usually opens two months prior to the start of the semester.  Click here to view the academic calendar for semester start dates.

Contact the Student Success Center at (617) 322-3579 or StudentSuccess@laboure.edu if you have any questions or need assistance.

Paying for school

The Student Accounts Office coordinates bill payment, which happens after course registration.  Click here for helpful information relating to payment options and payment due dates.

Have you considered how you will be paying for your courses?

Using Financial Aid: If you are relying on any type of financial aid to cover any portion of your balance, make sure you have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at https://studentaid.gov/

When you fill out a FAFSA, you will need to enter the Labouré College of Healthcare code so that our financial aid team will receive your application. The Labouré code is 006324.

You can check your financial aid status by logging on to http://financialaid.laboure.edu.

Not Covered By Financial Aid? Students with a balance left over after using financial aid, or students paying out of pocket for a program may choose to enroll in a Payment Plan. Payment plans are available via Nelnet.

Questions? Contact Financial Aid at or (617) 322-3517 or financialaid@laboure.edu

Immunization, health, and safety requirements

Click here to learn about the health and safety requirements at Labouré. Pay attention to deadlines to ensure compliance, otherwise you may not be eligible to enroll and may be dropped from courses.

Purchasing textbooks

After you register for classes, you'll want to ensure you purchase the correct books and supplies for each course. Labouré uses an online bookstore: http://laboure.textbookx.com

You can pay the bookstore directly, or put your purchases onto your student account at Labouré. Instructions for using your student account will be emailed to all registered students approximately 30 days before the start of the semester.
