Registering for classes can be stressful, but we are here to help make that process as easy as possible. You'll also find information about accessing your records, grades, transcripts, and enrollment verifications here.

On this page, you’ll find the resources you need to get you registered for your next semester, and access your records for the future.

Registration for Summer 2024 starts on March 4, 2024.

    Registration: Preparing before it starts

    Advising

If you need help determining which classes you need to register for, or which day and time you’re able to register, you should contact an advisor in the Student Success Center. They can look at where you are in your program and help you figure out what comes next.

Advisors are available virtually and over the phone.

Call (617) 322-3579 or email studentsuccess@laboure.edu to make your appointment.

    Browser

Use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to navigate to my.laboure.edu. We recommend using your desktop or laptop versus a mobile phone whenever possible.

    Course schedule

The course schedule is available on my.laboure.edu. You will need to sign the Financial Responsibility Statement prior to being able to view courses for the upcoming semester; this form only has to be signed once each semester, but we recommend signing it now, before registration starts, so you don’t have to worry about it on registration day.

    Courses: online, hybrid, on-campus?

    • Hybrid courses are identified by an H after the course and section number
      (for example: ENG2050 B H).
    • Online courses are identified by an after the course and section number
      (for example: ENG2050 A O).

    Day or Evening

Nursing students in the associate degree program who want to switch their designations (day/evening status) will not be able to do so during registration week.

If you do not know your designation or need to change your designation, please email Registrar@laboure.edu.

    On Registration Day

    When to log in

Wait until your designated registration time - do not log in to my.laboure.edu to register before your designated registration time.

If you are logged in before your registration time opens, you will have to log out and log back in once your registration time opens. Refreshing the page will not work.

Remember to use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox to navigate to my.laboure.edu. We recommend using your desktop or laptop versus a mobile phone whenever possible.

    Adding or dropping a course

Courses can be added or dropped online until the first day of classes for that semester. After the first day of classes, you can contact an Advisor in the Student Success Center to add or drop a course during the Course Adjustment Period.

Watch a tutorial video on how to register and drop courses.

Tip: If you see that the system is processing after you click “add” or “register”, do not click the button again. Clicking the button again will cause you to lose your space in the queue, and you will have to start the process over again.

    Waitlists

All courses have waitlists if the course becomes full. If you are trying to register for a course that is full, you will be able to add yourself to the waitlist. You will be able to see the waitlisted course in your student schedule.

If an opening becomes available, the Registrar’s Office will place the next student on the waitlist into the course, and will email a confirmation to the student.

Waitlist criteria for nursing professional courses in the associate degree are determined by the Nursing Division. An explanation of waitlist criteria for these courses is available in the Registration Newsletter.

    Registering for clinical

Clinical rotations are assigned by your program, and you will be contacted by a representative from your program with your clinical assignment. You will not need to register for clinical yourself.

    Time conflicts

If you attempt to register for two courses that overlap, you will receive an error message with a time conflict and will need to select different courses or sections. Time conflicts cannot be overridden.

Questions before, during, and after registration

    Records, Grades, Transcripts and more

We want to make sure you have the access you need to update, review, or request copies of your records, grades, and transcripts as necessary.

Changing your name, address, email, etc.

Your student record includes information about you – your name, contact information, etc. – all of which can change if you move, change your name, get a new phone number, etc. If you do make any of these changes, please complete the Change of Information Form, downloadable here or pick up a copy at the Welcome Center.

Tip: If you’re changing your name, a legal document with your new name on it is required, ie driver’s license, marriage certificate, legal paperwork, etc.

    Transcript Requests

The Registrar’s Office processes all transcript requests for official transcripts, and unofficial transcript requests for former students.

Current students can access their unofficial transcripts themselves through my.laboure.edu.

    Official transcripts

    • Hard Copy
To request a hard copy of an official transcript, fill out the Transcript Request Form (downloadable here, or pick one up at the Welcome Center) and submit your transcript fee payment. Official Transcripts take 1 – 2 business days to process, and can then be picked up or mailed. Official transcripts cannot be emailed or faxed.
    • Electronic
Current and former students can order official transcripts online through the National Student Clearinghouse. Transcript fee payment must be submitted at time of order. Delivery options include both postal mail, and electronic PDF. Transcript orders generally take approximately 3-5 business days to process (please allow additional time if mailing).

If we are unable to produce a transcript for any reason, the transcript fee will be refunded.

In order to receive an official transcript in either hard copy or electronic format, you must not have an outstanding balance.

    Unofficial transcripts

Current students may print unofficial transcripts any time by logging into my.laboure.edu and clicking on the “student” tab. Once there, you should see “Print Unofficial Transcript” in the menu on the left-hand side.

Former students may contact the Welcome Center at (617) 322-3579 or registrar@laboure.edu to request an unofficial transcript.

    Grades

Grades are posted within 3 days of your final exam. You will be able to see your final grade online at my.laboure.edu within 3 days of your final exam.

Enrollment verifications, loan deferment, or Mass Transitional Form/Unemployment Sec. 30

If you need enrollment verifications or forms filled out for childcare, employers, state benefits, loan deferments or more, simply fill out the Enrollment Verification Form, downloadable from my.laboure.edu or pick one up at the Welcome Center.

If you need forms filled out along with your verification, simply attach them to your enrollment verification request when you submit it to the Welcome Center.

Enrollment verifications for childcare or employers are typically processed within 2 – 3 business days.

A loan deferment form is usually not necessary, as Labouré submits a monthly report to the National Student Clearing House. Most loan companies use the National Student Clearing House database to determine a student’s status, so make sure you mention this to your loan provider.

If your loan provider does want this paperwork, or you need it for another reason, simply submit any required forms along with your Enrollment verification request.

Mass Transitional Form / Unemployment Sec. 30 forms usually take 3 – 4 business days to process; simply submit the forms along with your Enrollment Verification request to the Welcome Center. Forms will be faxed and mailed to the appropriate government agency, with original paperwork then mailed back to the student.

If you have a balance on your student account

Labouré College reserves the right to withhold the following records and services from students, former students, and/or alumni whose financial obligations to Labouré College are due and/or unpaid:

    • Diplomas
    • Verification and/or confirmation of enrollment

    • Verification and/or confirmation of graduation

Please note that the above list is not exhaustive, and that Labouré College of Healthcare reserves the right to withhold copies of additional types of student records as a result of non-payment on behalf of students, former students, and/or alumni. Any outstanding financial obligations to Labouré College of Healthcare must be resolved with Student Accounts.
